About The Position

This Multimedia Graphics Artist position supports the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in the area of Support Services. The mission-critical program provides comprehensive training, safety, standards, curriculum development, and technical modernization services to ensure national border security agents can operate safely and effectively. Adult learning relies heavily on visual comprehension. In this role, you capture physical tactical exercises on camera, design animations for web courses, and create custom graphics that make complex concepts intuitive and visually compelling for federal agents.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of professional graphic or multimedia design experience.
Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
A diverse portfolio displaying technical proficiency in video editing, motion design, and print graphic layouts.
Ability to obtain and maintain a federal background suitability check.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or related creative field preferred.

Responsibilities

Create visually compelling graphic layouts, animations, logos, and motion graphics for interactive courses and promotions.
Capture, script, edit, and mix high-resolution video and audio content (including podcasts, tutorials, and training documentaries).
Design professional custom brochures, trade show posters, decals for aviation assets, and sleek presentation templates.
Maintain a highly structured, easily searchable database of raw source files, stock imagery, and finished media deliverables.
