Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Real Estate, Real Estate Development, Construction Management, Urban Planning, Architecture, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
  • Interest in real estate development, multifamily housing, and the built environment.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research, including rent comparables, demographic analysis, and submarket trends to support new development opportunities.
  • Assist in site identification, feasibility analysis, and preliminary underwriting of potential development projects.
  • Support the entitlement process by researching zoning, land use regulations, and municipal requirements.
  • Help prepare development pro formas, project budgets, and schedules.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors on design and pre-construction activities.
  • Tour active development sites, submarkets, and competitive properties to gain exposure to the physical product.
  • Participate in team meetings, site visits, and calls with municipalities, partners, and consultants.
