Multi Skilled Operator
About The Position
Salute is seeking a Multi Skilled Operator to provide building maintenance services at a client’s data center facilities in McCarran-Sparks, Nevada, approximately 7 miles down USA Parkway. The role supports on-site electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs, with a focus on non-critical building and grounds tasks as directed by the Client Project Manager or designated personnel. The position involves a range of general maintenance, minor electrical and plumbing work, basic carpentry, industrial cleaning, light-duty mechanical work, HVAC filter and lighting maintenance, furniture and event setup, seasonal snow removal and landscaping, and special projects such as carpet cleaning or replacement. The role requires attention to detail, adaptability, effective communication and customer service, safety awareness, and problem-solving. Candidates must be able to work from heights. Available schedules are Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.; a rotating 4-on/3-off, 3-on/4-off schedule from 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.; or the same rotating schedule from 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in building maintenance or a related field.
- Proficiency in maintenance tasks including electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repairs.
- Ability to work from heights.
- Ability to handle varied tasks and projects with attention to detail and quality.
- Effective communication and strong customer service skills to coordinate with project managers and team members.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in HVAC.

Responsibilities
- Perform general area cleanup and maintain an orderly environment.
- Complete touch-up painting as needed.
- Manage tool inventory and keep tools in good working condition.
- Repair doors and mount signage as required.
- Perform minor electrical tasks, including replacing light bulbs and addressing minor electrical issues.
- Perform minor plumbing tasks, including fixing leaks and addressing drainage issues.
- Complete basic carpentry tasks to repair or improve building structures and fixtures.
- Address immediate or specialized industrial cleaning tasks.
- Perform light-duty mechanical tasks to support the operation of equipment and systems.
- Monitor and replace HVAC filters and light bulbs in designated areas.
- Hang wall art and shelving.
- Dismantle and install furniture and cabinets for reorganization or renovations.
- Set up and take down tables and chairs for meetings or events as directed.
- Remove snow during winter to maintain safe access to the facility.
- Assist with landscaping and outdoor clean-up tasks.
- Complete carpet cleaning or replacement projects as required.
- Undertake other tasks and special projects designated by the Client Project Manager or designated personnel.
