About The Position

The Multi-Property Custodian performs housekeeping services across the building, including cleaning vacant units between residents, under the direction of the Assistant Property Manager. The role maintains a clean, welcoming first impression for residents and prospective residents. Starting pay is $16 per hour, with higher pay possible based on experience. Employees who live and work with Goldmark may receive up to a 20% rent discount. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.

Requirements

Valid driver's license, vehicle, and vehicle insurance that meet company requirements.
Smartphone for work-related purposes.
Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, manage time, and attend to details.
Well-organized, self-directed, and a team player.
Knowledge of English and ability to communicate verbally.
Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, lift or move up to 25 pounds, speak clearly, and hear well.

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, including hallways, stairways, and landings, by vacuuming, dusting baseboards, washing marks off walls, and mopping entryway and laundry room floors.
Clean glass entry doors, windows, windowsills, and fire extinguisher cases.
Dispose of laundry room garbage and remove paper, pop cans, and other items from common areas within 24 hours.
Remove debris and help maintain the property's curb appeal.
Clean washers and dryers, including under washer lids and behind and alongside the machines.
Wipe down mailboxes and remove paper taped to walls.
Clean other visibly dirty areas in common areas and restrooms.
Perform turn cleaning of vacant units.
