The primary responsibility of a multi-modality technologist is to perform any two combination of procedures with related techniques, producing images for interpretation by, and at the request of, a licensed independent practitioner. This role involves operating equipment, understanding workflows, and ensuring patient safety across two imaging modalities. The technologist will obtain patient history, apply safety principles, provide radiation protection, verify patient identification, and may perform venipuncture, administer medications/contrast, and use a power injector as required by the modalities. This position may require on-call duties and working in multiple departments.
