About The Position

The Multi-Media Journalist / Producer contributes as needed to content gathering and production for WHO 13. Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Computer literacy.
• Knowledge of social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook.
• Two years of television newsroom experience.
• Ability to work under extreme pressure, meet deadlines, and work in adverse weather conditions.
• The work may involve desk work, walking, and standing.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Final Cut Pro.
• Two years of news reporting and writing experience.
• A four-year college degree.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an engaging on-air and online personality.
• Write web, text, and social-media versions of news stories.
• Shoot and edit video and sound.
• Operate an ENG Live truck.
• Enterprise news stories.
• Write and interpret broadcast-news copy.
• Report live-breaking news.
• Handle deadline pressure.
• Produce newscasts.
• Drive news vehicles when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
