Solid computer skills
Ability to multitask with simultaneously running processes
Operate and troubleshoot issues with heat-treat operation
Operate a tape measure and computer interfaces
Operate and effectively use heat treat software
Communicate effectively with other shifts
Work with machining and scheduling departments
Operate and effectively use band saw software
Operate and effectively use a manual lathe to roll copper and steel weld rings
Work closely with team leader and co-workers
Assist other operators and support production needs
Ability to thrive on challenges
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Willingness to work overtime as required
Maintain an organized and orderly work area

Responsibilities

Operate and troubleshoot issues as they arise with the heat-treat operation.
Operate a tape measure and computer interfaces.
Optimize work schedule to maximize uptime for heat treat.
Operate and effectively use heat treat software.
Communicate effectively with other shifts to ensure heat treat runs smoothly and mistakes are avoided.
Work with the machining and scheduling department to prioritize operations.
Operate and effectively use the band saw software.
Operate and effectively use a manual lathe to roll copper and steel weld rings.
Work very closely with the team leader and co-workers.
Assist other operators and support production needs as required.
Thrive on challenges.
Work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Be willing to work overtime as required.
Maintain an organized and orderly work area.
Perform other duties assigned by Team Leader/Manager.
