About The Position

BSN SPORTS, a Varsity Brands Company, is the largest team sporting goods equipment and apparel distributor in the United States. Our mission is to save coaches and administrators time so they can focus on impacting young lives. As an Embroidery Operator on the Production Team, you will be responsible for the embroidery process for all products in our facility. This includes gathering designs, loading them into the machine, ensuring proper placement, hooping, thread colors, and producing a quality finished product. You will play a pivotal role in setting the pace for our embroidery process and ensuring timely delivery to our customers.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED (required)
• 1 - 2 years’ experience in a warehouse/ manufacturing setting
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, with extensive experience with Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work seasonal mandatory OT as needed and maintain excellent attendance
• Read and comprehend documents, instructions, and correspondence in English to perform job duties efficiently.
• Ability to add, subtract multiply and divide numbers.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus
• Operational, Warehouse, Logistics or comparable experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Tajima Electronic Automatic Embroidery Machinery
• Work with area Supervisor and team leads on achieving daily goals of safety, quality, delivery, and productivity
• Execute the daily schedule, including pre-production and post-production needs
• Inspect all products for accuracy of order specifications
• Trouble shoot any issues with machines as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders in spoken English
• Participate in meetings, discussions, and presentations requiring proficient spoken English skills
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing valuable insights and feedback in English
