Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in engineering, engineering technology, architecture, construction management, project management, or another related field
  • Minimum of 10 years post graduation & 5 years of relevant project management experience, preferably in consulting engineering, infrastructure, buildings, institutional, federal, Defence, or multidisciplinary project environments
  • Experience managing multi-discipline engineering projects, including coordination of internal technical teams and external subconsultants
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, change management, and risk management
  • Excellent communication, organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong client service orientation with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
  • Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel to project sites or client meetings, as required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Defence Construction Canada, Department of National Defence, federal government, institutional, or secure infrastructure projects would be considered a strong asset
  • Professional designation, eligibility for registration, or project management certification would be considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety culture in all aspects of project delivery
  • Manage multi-discipline engineering projects as the prime consultant for Defence Construction Canada and the Department of National Defence
  • Lead the planning, coordination, execution, monitoring, and close-out of assigned projects in accordance with company and client requirements
  • Coordinate project activities across multiple disciplines, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, architectural, environmental, and other technical teams, as required
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, deliverables, and client expectations
  • Prepare and review proposals, work plans, budgets, schedules, reports, and other project documentation
  • Participate in client meetings, project meetings, progress reporting, and issue resolution
  • Coordinate subconsultants, contractors, and internal project resources to support successful project delivery
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, technical teams, and project partners
  • Support contract administration, site reviews, project reporting, billing, and project close-out activities, as required
