About The Position
Responsible for project work and process improvement across the plant. This role involves creating and maintaining a safe work environment, performing project work, installing new equipment, and conducting preventative maintenance. The position also requires managing and supporting contractors, identifying and driving improvement opportunities to completion, and maintaining accurate documentation. Additionally, the role involves working with chemicals that require specific respiratory protection and performing other assigned tasks.
Requirements
- Excellent safety record for self and team members
- Strong communication skills and able to work as a team
- Self-motivated and able to work efficiently with little oversight
- Previous industrial maintenance experience
- Strong welding and fabrication experience
- Strong electrical / mechanical aptitude
- Driven to make things better and have a positive attitude
- Problem solving and troubleshooting experience
- Ability to pass FIT test for full face respirator and SCBA
Nice To Haves
- Rigging experience
- Electrical experience
- Project management experience
- Contractor management experience
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
