About The Position

Provide all disciplines including controls & automation industrial maintenance support and analysis to assist Leadec in maintaining & improving the capability of machinery and equipment to achieve customer objectives.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in Industrial Maintenance related duties.
2+ years of Robotic work experience.
Communication Skills - Ability to communicate with all levels of Leadec and customer employees.
Language Ability -- Talking to others to convey information effectively.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Experience with electrical, mechanical, automation, & control systems and equipment.
Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to industrial maintenance work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
Experience working in industrial settings such as factories, plants, or warehouses.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Skilled in Root Cause based maintenance practices.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.
Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent training and experience.
Knowledge of PLC programming and control systems is a plus.
Mechatronics experience or training is a plus.
Willingness to keep up with industry developments and advancements.
Exceptional planning, communication, and Leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec.
Works safely at all times.
Install, maintain, and repair all systems and equipment in industrial settings.
Perform preventative maintenance on all systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Troubleshoot problems and diagnosed issues with all systems and equipment.
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams to install and maintain all systems and equipment.
Install and maintain automation & control systems for industrial machinery and equipment. This will include Robotic too. Must be able to do touch up points and small program movements
Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and regulations.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as engineers, mechanics, and technicians, to complete projects and repairs.
Provide training and guidance to apprentices and other junior maintenance technicians.
Keep accurate records of work performed and maintain inventory of required equipment and supplies.
Adhering to and supporting all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectively.
All other duties as assigned by Leadec manager.
