About The Position

Booz Allen is seeking an experienced DevOps infrastructure engineer to support clients modernizing IT infrastructures and accomplishing challenging missions. The role works closely with cloud architects and engineers to manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions, establish and provision virtual machines and networks, and use cloud service providers within a DevOps framework. Responsibilities may include developing, deploying, and managing IT infrastructure for critical server and network components. The position offers access to internal innovation labs, technology, and teammates to explore solutions to client challenges.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience working with DevOps or System Administration teams.
At least 5 years of experience with Linux and Windows administration.
At least 2 years of experience as a team lead of cloud or on-premises infrastructure DevOps teams.
At least 2 years of experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
At least 2 years of experience using task management software such as Jira.
At least 2 years of experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, SQS, or SNS.
At least 2 years of experience capturing infrastructure and configuration as code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
At least 2 years of experience with VMware or Citrix.
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
Bachelor's degree, or at least 8 years of DevOps experience in lieu of a degree.

Nice To Haves

Experience performing security scans and remediating vulnerabilities.
Experience with the Sponsor A&A process and systems.
Experience managing on-premises hardware at the Sponsor.
Experience with OCI and Azure.
Experience managing Oracle Database instances.
Experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving CI/CD pipeline failures or slowdowns.
Experience developing tools and processes to improve DevOps or DevSecOps maturity through automation of builds, regression testing, monitoring, and releases across environments.
Experience writing scripts using Python, Bash, or Boto3.
Experience creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks.
AWS and OCI certifications.
