Clinton Community Schools is seeking a highly collaborative and knowledgeable teacher leader to serve as the MTSS Coordinator for Secondary Literacy & Academic Systems. This position will support the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) in alignment with Michigan Department of Education (MDE) requirements under Public Act 146 (PA 146). The MTSS Coordinator will serve both the middle school and high school in a shared capacity, supporting the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success of all students. This role is designed to strengthen Tier I, Tier II, and Tier III systems through coordination, data use, intervention support, and collaboration with staff, students, and families. The position will focus on strengthening Tier I instruction across content areas, advancing adolescent literacy, coordinating intervention systems, and supporting data-based decision-making. The MTSS Coordinator will play a key role in improving attendance, supporting at-risk student populations, maintaining student data systems, and contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture aligned with district initiatives such as PRIDE. This is a teacher leadership position that supports instructional systems and does not include formal supervisory or evaluative responsibilities.
