The MTSS Coordinator serves as both an intervention classroom teacher (80%) and the campus leader for Multi-Tiered System of Supports (20%). This role ensures strong Tier 1 instruction in the classroom while leading schoolwide systems that identify, monitor, and support students in need of academic and behavioral interventions. Reporting to the principal or campus administrator, the MTSS Coordinator delivers high-quality, standards-aligned instruction while overseeing intervention systems, data analysis cycles, and compliance related to Tier 2 and Tier 3 supports. This individual plays a critical role in supporting teachers with intervention planning and ensuring students receive timely, effective support. The MTSS Coordinator works on a 10.5-month contract, which is two weeks more than teacher positions. The additional two work weeks are dedicated to beginning-of-year MTSS setup (rosters, data review, intervention schedules, compliance documentation, teacher training) and end-of-year including data analysis, reporting, and planning for the following school year. This role requires a highly organized, data-driven educator who demonstrates strong instructional expertise, collaboration skills, and an unwavering commitment to student achievement.
