The Secondary Literacy Coach role is an integral part of the Academics team, ensuring curriculum implementation, teacher and leader development, and data-driven decision making in supporting improved student achievement. This is a full-time, on-site role based at KIPP DC campuses with an anticipated start date of July 2026. In this critical role, you’ll be responsible for developing the content knowledge and pedagogical skills for educators at KIPP DC. You’ll leverage your content and instructional expertise to build trusting relationships with leaders and teachers to drive academic achievement for all KIPP DC students. For 25 years, KIPP DC has partnered with students, families, and the community to create joyful, academically excellent schools across the nation’s capital. Their network of 22 schools educates more than 7,500 students in grades PreK3-12, supported by 1,500 dedicated teachers, leaders, and staff.
