About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Architect with a specialization in Microsoft Fabric to lead our data modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and a proven track record of implementing complex data solutions. This role requires deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric or similar platforms like Databricks, along with a solid understanding of SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes. Proficiency in cloud environments, particularly Azure, is essential, with experience in AWS or GCP being a plus. A strong grasp of data governance, security frameworks, and compliance standards is also required, alongside excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Requirements

• 15 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Architectural experience in implementing data modernization.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or comparable platforms (Databricks, Azure Synapse, Spark).
• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP is a plus).
• Knowledge of data governance, security frameworks, and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement data modernization strategies using Microsoft Fabric.
• Design and oversee the implementation of data solutions on platforms like Databricks, Azure Synapse, and Spark.
• Develop and maintain robust data models and ETL/ELT processes.
