About The Position
Ampcus Inc. is seeking a highly motivated MRP Planner to join their team. The primary function of this role is to establish production schedules based on forecasts for major equipment or select items, inputting these schedules into the MRP module and approving inventory replenishment orders. Other responsibilities include maintaining major equipment records, publishing shop-related reports, and monitoring critical inventory items.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in business or completed course in Production and Inventory control or equivalent and/or college or technical school; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two to three years shop experience.
- One to two years PC planner experience.
- One to two years scheduling experience.
- Experience with Lotus or equal type spreadsheets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), as well as Internet software and E-mail.
Responsibilities
- Inputs and reviews MRP runs.
- Reviews daily shortage-takes action.
- Prepares reports on critical items.
- Adheres to the Company’s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards.
