Miller Industries, LLC designs, engineers, and manufactures custom products at its locations in Fenton, Michigan. The divisions of the business include Miller Fabricated Systems, Flex Air, Miller Industries Representatives, and Fusion Cooling. Together they have the capabilities to provide customers with custom steel fabrication, custom commercial and industrial HVAC systems and applications, and modular equipment rooms for refrigeration. They have been primary suppliers to automotive, healthcare, and institutional customers worldwide. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field
5+ years of strategic sourcing or category management experience
Experience with logistics procurement, MRO, and capital purchasing
Strong negotiation and contract management experience
Strategic sourcing and category management
Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis
Supplier strategy development
Financial and contract analysis

Responsibilities

Develop and execute category strategies for MRO supplies and services, freight, transportation, and logistics, warehousing and storage, and capital equipment and facility investments.
Lead RFQ/RFP processes and supplier negotiations.
Manage supplier selection, onboarding, and performance tracking.
Drive cost savings initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Track and manage spend vs. budget.
Ensure all commercial agreements and contracts are negotiated and closed.
Support capital projects with procurement of equipment and services.
Identify and mitigate risks related to supply continuity and cost volatility.
Build strategic supplier partnerships.
Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, Operations, and Facilities.
