About The Position
The MRI Technologist Lead oversees day-to-day floor operations within the MRI modality, monitors quality, and coordinates education opportunities. The role monitors customer and employee satisfaction results to identify trends and improvement opportunities, and assigns and monitors MRI technologists’ work to optimize quality and efficiency. The position also assists the manager with payroll duties as assigned and may lead special projects assigned by leadership. The position is based at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. It is full-time, with 40 scheduled hours per week, variable shifts and days, and Monday-to-Friday workdays. Weekend frequency is listed as none.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent; graduate of a JRCERT-accredited radiography program.
- Five years of relevant experience as an MRI technologist.
- MRI technologist certification from ARRT or ARMRIT, required upon hire.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, required upon hire.
