About The Position
The MRI Technologist Lead oversees day-to-day floor operations within the MRI modality, monitors quality, and coordinates education opportunities during operations. The role monitors customer and employee satisfaction results, identifies trends and opportunities for improvement, and assigns and monitors MRI technologists’ work to optimize quality and efficiency. The position may assist the manager with assigned payroll duties and lead special projects assigned by leadership. The role is based at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, and is full-time, with 40 scheduled hours per week. The shift and hours are variable; workdays are Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent; graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)-accredited Radiography program.
- Five years of relevant experience as an MRI technologist.
- Upon hire, certification as an MRI technologist through ARRT or ARMRIT.
- Upon hire, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
