About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Technologist to join the healthcare team in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The role involves performing diagnostic MRI examinations and providing high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate has MRI certification, meets New Mexico state licensing requirements, and is committed to patient comfort and safety.
Requirements
- Registered in MRI through ARRT or certified by ARMRIT.
- Must hold or be able to obtain a New Mexico state MRI license.
- BLS certification required upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain the imaging process, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Screen patients for MRI safety, including implants, medical devices, and contraindications.
