About The Position
Jefferson Radiology, an affiliate of Radiology Partners (RP), is seeking an MRI Technologist to join their team in Glastonbury, CT. This role offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus and Relocation Bonus. Jefferson Radiology is the largest radiology practice group in Connecticut, with ten imaging centers and affiliations with multiple regional hospitals. The position involves performing MRI procedures with a focus on excellent patient care, maintaining high quality and productivity, and proficiently operating MRI equipment and associated computer systems (RIS and PACS).
Requirements
- ARRT or ARMRIT Certification, required
- MRI Certification, required
- CPR (BLS) Certification, required
- 2+ years of experience in high field MRI, required
- Must demonstrate ability to perform intravenous injections with proficiency
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent patient care by performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures as ordered by the referring physician
- Performs MRI exams as described in the procedure/protocol manual, consistently maintaining a high level of quality and productivity
- Operates MRI equipment and computer systems, including Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archival & Communication System (PACS), with proficiency
