About The Position

Utilize all MRI resources to perform high quality MRI examinations on entire patient population (neonate through geriatrics) for interpretation by a physician. Other duties as deemed necessary.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• One year of radiologic experience.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT).
• Licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association.
• Able to produce very high-quality special imaging with little supervision.
• Able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Familiar with age specific criteria.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
• 0-2 years of modality specific experience required.
• ARRT MRI registration required within one year.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI examinations on patients of all ages (neonate through geriatrics).
• Utilize all MRI resources effectively.
• Proactively maintain and renew ARRT, state license, BLS, PPD, respirator fit test, and POC training.
• Obtain ARRT MRI Registration within 1 year of hire date.
