About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our Imaging Department at Baptist ED North in Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN, Varied Shifts position. This MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI exams on patients, ensuring high-quality diagnostic procedures and patient safety. In addition to performing MRI exams on patients, this MRI Technologist will prepare patients for MRI exams and explain the procedure to them. The MRI Technologist will work closely with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information. This MRI Technologist will operate the MRI equipment.

Requirements

Vocational School or Associate's Degree
American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) Required
Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required
Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required
Registered Technologist in Magnetic Resonance Imaging ARRT (MR) Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
If CRT or ARRT (R) must obtain ARRT (MRI) registry within 18 months.
