About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist for the CT Scan Department at Baptist ED Silverleaf in St. Augustine, Florida. The role provides high-quality imaging services while supporting patient comfort and safety in a collaborative environment. The technologist operates and calibrates GE equipment, prepares patients for procedures—including administering IV contrast and positioning patients—explains the imaging process, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards. This is a full-time days position working 36 hours per week, from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a flexible schedule. Weekend, holiday, and call rotations are included. The position is based at Silverleaf - FSED Building C, 8675 St Johns Parkway, St. Augustine, Florida 32092.

Requirements

Vocational school education.
Registered Technologist in Radiography (ARRT-R) certification required.
Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) credential required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Must pass ARRT certification in Computed Tomography within 12 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of radiology experience preferred.
Experience working in a hospital setting preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality CT procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
Monitor patients’ vital signs and comfort during exams.
Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
Follow safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
Educate patients about the CT process and answer their questions.
Administer IV contrast and calibrate GE equipment.
