MRI Technologist - Per Diem
About The Position
University Radiology is seeking an experienced, motivated per diem MRI Technologist for its imaging offices in Cherry Hill and Moorestown, New Jersey. The technologist performs MRI examinations in accordance with established imaging protocols, safety guidelines, and departmental standards, delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while maintaining image quality and patient safety. The role requires working in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and adhering to all department and facility safety protocols. This per diem position offers Saturday shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with coverage available every other Saturday. The pay rate is $55 per hour. University Radiology is the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in New Jersey, with more than 180 board-certified radiologists. University Radiology at Cooper is a partnership between University Radiology and Cooper University Health Care.
Requirements
- ARRT(MR) certification.
- At least 3 years of MR work experience.
- High-field magnet experience.
Nice To Haves
- GE high-field magnet experience.
