About The Position

University Radiology is hiring an experienced per diem MRI Technologist for its imaging office in East Brunswick, New Jersey. The role supports accurate diagnoses by performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging and providing patients with an informed, comfortable, and safe imaging experience. The technologist works in collaboration with radiologists and other clinical team members to support efficient daily operations. The schedule is every other Saturday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, and the pay rate is $55 per hour.

Requirements

• ARRT(MR) certification.
• At least 5 years of MR work experience.
• High-field magnet experience.

Nice To Haves

• GE high-field magnet experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
• Prepare and position patients to obtain clear, diagnostic-quality images.
• Conduct MRI safety screenings and follow applicable safety procedures.
• Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance throughout the exam.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to departmental quality standards.
• Communicate with radiologists and clinical staff to support smooth daily operations.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized imaging environment.
• Perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and adhere to department and facility safety protocols.
