The MRI Technologist position at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital involves operating magnetic resonance (MR) equipment to perform a range of diagnostic procedures, including musculoskeletal, neurological, orthopedic imaging, arthrogram, neurological angiography, body imaging, small joint imaging, angiography, and breast MRI. The role also requires identifying and reporting equipment issues, performing quality assurance tests, evaluating new products, and serving as a technical resource and preceptor for students and staff. Physical duties include patient positioning and transporting, which involves lifting and pushing/pulling. The technologist must be proficient in providing age-appropriate care.
