About The Position

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologists to support operations at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System located at One Veterans Drive, Minneapolis, MN 55417. The schedule is typically Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm with occasional evening and weekend coverage as needed. Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of MRI experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in MRI imaging
  • ARRT certification in MRI – R.T.(MR)(ARRT), active and unrestricted
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
  • Must have proven clinical work experience within the past 12 months
  • Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
  • Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
  • Lift up to 20 lbs
  • Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
  • Push/pull with 30 lbs of force

Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI imaging procedures in a clinical hospital setting following established imaging protocols
  • Prepare, position, and monitor patients during MRI exams, ensuring comfort and safety
  • Operate MRI equipment, including calibration, setup, and image acquisition
  • Review image quality and communicate with radiologists as needed for diagnostic accuracy
  • Adhere to all MRI safety protocols, including screening for implants and metal exposure
  • Document all procedures and patient care activities in the VA electronic health record (CPRS)
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, VA privacy, and information security requirements
  • Participate in quality assurance (QA/QI) activities and patient safety reporting
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and imaging staff
  • Attend required VA orientation, training, and ongoing education
  • Maintain accurate time and attendance records and sign in/out daily
