About The Position

Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented MRI Technologist to join the diagnostic imaging team at Providence Health & Services in Newberg, Oregon. In this role, you will perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional imaging quality. You'll work closely with radiologists, physicians, and fellow imaging professionals to provide accurate diagnostic studies that support outstanding patient care. This full-time opportunity offers a competitive salary of $49,000 – $76,000 annually, along with a $6,000 sign-on bonus for eligible external candidates. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Education that meets certification, licensure, or registration requirements.
  • Active Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist License upon hire or Oregon MRI Technologist Temporary License upon hire.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification within 180 days of hire or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) certification within 180 days of hire.
  • New graduates must possess an Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Temporary License and obtain a permanent license within 180 days of hire.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering safe, high-quality diagnostic imaging.
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience performing MRI examinations in a hospital or outpatient imaging setting.
  • Experience working with advanced MRI equipment and imaging protocols.
  • Knowledge of MRI safety standards, contrast administration, and patient screening procedures.
  • Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
