About The Position

The MRI Technologist works in collaboration with the Imaging/Radiology team to perform technical procedures involving Magnetic Resonance Imaging and help provide comprehensive, compassionate imaging care to MultiCare patients. The role works at a technical level under limited supervision, performing MRI procedures independently and applying independent judgment, initiative, and creative ingenuity. This position is based at MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital in Yakima, Washington. It is a 0.9 FTE position with a day shift schedule of 36 hours per week.

Requirements

• Register with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (MRI) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) upon hire or within six months of hire into this classification.
• Hold Washington State Department of Health certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Hold current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform MRI procedures at a technical level under limited supervision.
• Apply independent judgment, initiative, and creative ingenuity in performing procedures.
• Collaborate with the Imaging/Radiology team to support comprehensive and compassionate imaging care for patients.
