About The Position

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher
• Radiology (1+ years)
• 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following: Meditech ITS – Imaging, Meditech MRI – Medical Records
• Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification/license in the state of New York (NY)
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS), American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)

Responsibilities

• Perform various Radiology Services procedures at a technical level without constant supervision
• Conduct a variety of imaging and documentation procedures including Radiology procedures
• Apply prescribed ionizing radiation and/or MRI for radiologic diagnosis
• Ensure patient safety protocols are followed
• Serve as first line interface with customers to meet their imaging needs
• Assist in the department of Radiology and support its functions
• Prioritize patient care and deliver high quality imaging services
