MRI Technologist (Per Diem)
About The Position
New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center (NHOC), a division of Northeast Orthopaedic Alliance, is a physician-owned practice dedicated to providing exceptional orthopaedic care across Southern New Hampshire. Our imaging services play a key role in supporting providers with accurate and timely diagnoses to enhance the patient experience. We are seeking a Per Diem MRI Technologist to join our Bedford imaging team. The MRI Technologist will perform high-quality MRI examinations while prioritizing patient safety, comfort, and privacy. This role is ideal for an experienced MRI professional seeking flexible scheduling in a collaborative outpatient environment.
Requirements
- Current ARRT (MR) certification required.
- Current New Hampshire state licensure required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on patient care.
- Flexibility to work variable per diem hours as scheduled.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience preferred
- outpatient orthopaedic experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Prepare, position, and educate patients for imaging procedures.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout the exam.
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, promptly reporting technical issues.
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and NHOC standards.
