University Radiology is looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Full Time MRI Technologist to join our dynamic imaging team. In this position, you will play a critical role in patient care and will float to our Northern, NJ Imaging Offices, located in Mapelwood, Linden, Teaneck, & Elizabeth. Key Responsibilities Patient Care: Greet patients, explain procedures to reduce anxiety, and ensure patient comfort and safety. Imaging Excellence: Position patients, adjust imaging equipment, and set exposure factors to produce high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to safety protocols. Equipment Maintenance: Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain imaging equipment, reporting malfunctions promptly. Documentation: Accurately document patient information and imaging results in RIS/PACS systems. Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists and physicians to provide essential diagnostic data. Varied shifts. this position qualifies for float differential pay May be required to train in and perform remote MRI scanning. Will be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.
