Requirements

ARRT Certification required.
MRI Certification required.
Illinois State IEMA Certification required within six months of hire.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS or Red Cross BLS certification required upon hire.

Two years of experience as a staff technologist preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform MRI examinations with precision, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Prepare and position patients to ensure comfort, safety, and optimal image quality.
Explain procedures and answer patient questions to create a positive experience.
Produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to patient needs.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot MRI equipment according to established protocols.
Ensure compliance with all safety standards, MRI screening procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Accurately document patient information and imaging records.
Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, nurses, and healthcare professionals to support outstanding patient care.
