About The Position

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our dedicated team. You will operate the MRI machine efficiently, ensure patient comfort before and during scanning procedures, and coordinate with physicians to ensure timely receipt of results. Candidates should possess knowledge of medical terminology and be capable of standing for extended periods.

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• New York State Radiologic Technologist license is required; willingness to obtain if not currently held.
• Experience with GE MRI scanners is mandatory.
• Injection certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is preferred.
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.
• Coordinate with physicians to provide accurate diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare patients for scans and clearly explain the procedures to help ease any concerns.
• Insert IVs as necessary for diagnostic tests.
• Document all procedures while ensuring the confidentiality of patient information.
• Perform patient care tasks as required.
