About The Position

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher.
• Radiology (1+ years)
• 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following: Meditech ITS – Imaging, Meditech MRI – Medical Records
• Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in the state of New York (NY)
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS), American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)

Responsibilities

• Perform various Radiology Services procedures at a technical level without constant supervision.
• Conduct a variety of imaging and documentation procedures including Radiology procedures.
• Apply prescribed ionizing radiation and/or MRI for radiologic diagnosis.
• Ensure patient safety protocols are followed.
• Serve as first line interface with customers to meet their imaging needs.
• Assist in the department of Radiology and support its functions.
• Prioritize patient care and deliver high quality imaging services.
