About The Position

The MRI Technologist, PRN position is in the Radiology Department at St Mary's Hospital. The technologist is responsible for direct patient care activities and clerical duties as assigned by MRI. This includes managing direct patient flow through the department, greeting and escorting/transporting patients within the imaging department and back to their rooms or the Emergency Department.

Requirements

• Registered or registry eligible with ARRT (MR).
• Current BLS through American Heart Association.
• Graduate of formal Radiographic technology training in an AMA-Approved school.
• One year experience in a hospital environment preferred.
• Demonstrate Radiological technology competence.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care activities and clerical duties as assigned by MRI.
• Direct patient flow through the department.
• Greet and escort/transport patients within the imaging department and back to the patient room or Emergency Department.
