The successful candidate: As needed dayshift role M-F + as needed Call overnight M-F and weekend days/overnights The MRI Technologist is responsible for the safe and proficient operation of all Magnetic Resonance (MR) equipment, including scanners, coils, power injectors, and patient monitoring devices. This role requires adherence to organizational policies and compliance standards, with a commitment to ethical practice and patient-centered care. The technologist must demonstrate initiative, independent judgment, and a positive attitude while consistently producing high-quality diagnostic images with minimal repeats. Daily responsibilities include managing multiple room assignments, performing a wide range of exams, and maintaining effective communication with physicians, patients, families, and hospital staff. In addition to clinical duties, the technologist contributes to performance improvement initiatives and supports departmental operations through clerical tasks, inventory management, stocking supplies, and light housekeeping as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited MRI or radiologic technology program (associate degree or certificate) including anatomy, physics, MRI procedures, and patient care.
  • Registered by the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology) in MRI and/or ARMRIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists)
