About The Position

The MRI Technologist, PRN position is in the Radiology Department at St Mary's Hospital. Under the direction of the technical supervisor/team leader, the imaging assistant is responsible for direct patient care activities and clerical duties as assigned by MRI. This includes managing patient flow through the department, greeting and escorting/transporting patients within the imaging department and back to their rooms or the Emergency Department.

Requirements

• Registered or registry eligible with ARRT (MR)
• Current BLS thru American Heart Association
• Graduate of formal Radiographic technology training in an AMA-Approved school

Nice To Haves

• One year experience in hospital environment
• Demonstrate Radiological technology competence

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care activities
• Clerical duties as assigned by MRI
• Direct patient flow through the department
• Greet and escort/transport patients within the imaging department and back to the patient room or Emergency Department
