About The Position

Jefferson Health is hiring an MRI Technologist to perform patient imaging and produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes. Under the supervision of the Radiologist, the technologist operates MRI imaging equipment, reviews check-in documents to verify accurate patient medical histories, provides basic patient care as required, and stays current with MRI imaging procedures and protocols. The position may be eligible for conversion to a Trainee role, depending on team capacity and available cross-training resources. Trainee opportunities are not guaranteed and are evaluated case by case; accepted trainees must sign an on-the-job training agreement and obtain required certifications in accordance with the department’s training program requirements.

Requirements

1–3 months of experience and/or training.
Satisfactory formal training in an approved program.
ARRT (MR) certification.

Responsibilities

Perform patient imaging and remain current with MRI imaging procedures and protocols.
Review check-in documents for accurate patient medical histories.
Provide basic patient care services as required.
Operate MRI imaging equipment under the supervision of the Radiologist to produce images for diagnostic purposes.
