About The Position

The MRI Technologist I cares for patients while operating equipment to produce high-quality images for radiologist interpretation. The role includes navigating EMR/PACS, providing general patient care, positioning patients, explaining procedures, and carrying out appropriate imaging protocols and techniques for all examinations. The technologist complies with regulatory requirements to provide safe and appropriate care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or an accredited MRI program.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• ARRT (MR) advanced MRI certification or registration with the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT), or obtain one of these within one year of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of radiography experience.
• One year of MRI experience.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R).
