About The Position
MercyOne Genesis serves a 17-county bi-state region of the Quad Cities (Davenport and Bettendorf, Iowa, and Rock Island and Moline, Ill.) metropolitan area and the surrounding communities of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois. As an MRI Technologist I at MercyOne Genesis, you will, under limited supervision, perform magnetic resonance exams and procedures under the medical direction of the radiologist in a highly technical and professional manner. Jumpstart available! Earn monthly financial support while you finish your last semester of school. MercyOne will reimburse your board and licensure fees. Once you have your licensure, start your career with MercyOne (retention requirement based on position).
Requirements
- Successful completion of an accredited two-year Imaging Technology program (ARRT) or ARMRIT certified
- Maintains active registry status
- Completion of the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Mandatory Reporter training specific to the population served within three (3) months of hire
- Maintains Basic Life Support qualification
Nice To Haves
- Previous MR experience preferred
- MR credential (ARRT or AMRIT) preferred
