About The Position

Northside Hospital is seeking an MRI Tech to use Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body. The role serves neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting. Work hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or an accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one year of diagnostic radiology experience, or an ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR)-only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
• Hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.

Nice To Haves

• Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR).
• One year of training and experience in MRI.

Responsibilities

• Use Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body for patients of all listed age groups in an outpatient setting.
