About The Position

This position is for an MRI Tech in a Radiology/Imaging department. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in a teaching hospital setting. Experience with Epic EMR within the last 2 years is mandatory. The technologist will be responsible for performing routine MRI procedures, including those involving contrast injections. Flexibility in scheduling for 10-hour day shifts with varying start times and occasional late coverage is necessary. Participation in a call rotation, including one night per week and every 4th-5th weekend, is also required. The role may involve floating within the Radiology department to areas such as Fluoroscopy, the Operating Room, and off-site locations. Candidates must provide a complete work history, including bed count, EMR used, facility type, and explanations for any employment gaps exceeding 90 days. Reliable personal transportation is also a requirement.

Requirements

• Active ARRT (MRI) certification
• MRI certification verification
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Epic experience within the past 2 years (non-negotiable)
• Experience with MRI contrast injections and routine MRI procedures
• Must be flexible to work 10-hour day shifts with varying start times and occasional late coverage until 9:30 PM
• Participation in call rotation is required
• Must be willing to float within the Radiology department, including Fluoroscopy, OR, and off-site locations
• Complete work history with bed count, EMR, facility type, and explanations for employment gaps over 90 days is required
• Reliable personal transportation is required
