About The Position
Perform design analysis and develop dispositions for part/assembly non-conformances. Assess repair scenarios for fit, form, and function in compliance with airworthiness requirements. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (design, stress, manufacturing) to ensure cost-effective and timely repair solutions. Provide customer-facing support and mentor junior engineers. Escalate and explain critical technical issues effectively.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of MRB/Structures Engineering experience (Boeing preferred)
- B.S. degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Structural, or Design Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- Boeing MRB signatory or prior delegation highly desired
- Experience with Boeing commercial products or supply chain (3+ years preferred)
- CATIA V5 proficiency for model interrogation/modification
- Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with TIPQA, MES, and composite/metallic repair methods a plus
- Previous DOA (Design Organization Approval) experience is a bonus
