About The Position

We are hiring three Process Engineers to support a major new product launch at our Florence, South Carolina manufacturing facility. While all three positions share a common foundation in manufacturing process engineering, each role supports a different manufacturing area: Machining & Winding, Magnet Assembly, and Cryostat & Helium Vessel Manufacturing. In these roles, you will partner with production, quality, and engineering teams to support manufacturing operations, improve processes, troubleshoot production challenges, and help scale innovative new products into production. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, or another related technical discipline from an accredited university or college.
Experience supporting manufacturing, production, engineering, or process improvement activities through professional work experience, internships, cooperative education programs, research, or academic projects.
Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, unrestricted basis without current or future employer sponsorship.

Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience supporting production processes, equipment, tooling, or process improvement initiatives.
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or problem-solving methodologies.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

CNC or NC machining (for Machining & Winding role).

Steel and/or aluminum fabrication (for Cryostat & Helium Vessel Manufacturing role).
Tanks, pressure vessels, or large welded assemblies (for Cryostat & Helium Vessel Manufacturing role).
Fabrication and manufacturing process optimization (for Cryostat & Helium Vessel Manufacturing role).

Responsibilities

Define, develop, and support manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment.
Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process controls, and standard work.
Troubleshoot manufacturing, assembly, and testing issues to improve quality, productivity, and process reliability.
Support the introduction of new products, technologies, and manufacturing methods.
Partner closely with production teams, quality engineers, supervisors, and fellow engineers to solve technical challenges.
Analyze process performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Validate manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with product and process requirements.
Communicate technical information clearly and effectively across teams.
Support a culture of safety, quality, collaboration, and operational excellence.
