About The Position

Full Time, benefit-eligible day position at an outpatient imaging center, working Monday through Friday. Experience in Breast imaging and positioning preferred. Midwest Radiology is also offering a one-time bonus of $5,000 to be earned and paid upon successful completion of one year of employment.

Requirements

ARRT(R), ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT.
If ARRT(R), required to obtain ARRT(MR) within a year.
MR Certification required within one year of employment.
CPR certification required.
Knowledge of basic radiologic principles, procedures, methods and techniques required.
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology required.
Excellent patient care, problem solving, organizational, communication and technical skills required.
Ability to work independently, in a team, and with all levels of the organization required.
Ability to prioritize tasks and take initiative required.
Demonstrate knowledge of safety-related work behaviors to ensure a safe work environment.
Must be competent in using a computer keyboard, email, and PACS or similar applications.

Nice To Haves

Experience in Breast imaging and positioning preferred.
6-12 months MR experience preferred.
IV and power contrast injector experience preferred.
May require local travel.

Responsibilities

Obtain patient history, answer questions, and provide the patient with information about the exam and/or procedure so they are comfortable and thoroughly understand it.
Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
Work with the radiologists, referring clinics and/or patients to ensure the appropriate exams, films and medical records are correct and prepared for the exam.
Ensure all necessary paperwork is accurate and complete for the radiologist, referring clinic and the patient’s medical records.
Incorporate company values into daily interactions with internal and external customers.
Other duties may include, but are not limited to, training new employees, stocking and/or ordering department supplies and assisting in other departments.
