About The Position

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Movers / Moving Helpers to join our team in Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate will assist with residential and commercial moves by safely packing, loading, transporting, unloading, and placing furniture and other belongings. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position that requires good teamwork, reliability, and a customer-service-oriented attitude.

Requirements

• Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy items.

Nice To Haves

• Previous moving, warehouse, delivery, or labor experience is a plus, but not required.
• Weekend availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload furniture, boxes, appliances, and other household items.
• Safely carry and move heavy furniture and belongings.
• Assist with residential and commercial moving projects.
• Wrap, pad, and protect furniture and other items to prevent damage.
• Properly organize and secure items inside moving trucks.
• Assist with packing and unpacking as needed.
• Carefully move items through stairs, hallways, elevators, and doorways.
• Follow instructions from the Driver, Crew Leader, or Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers.
• Follow all company safety procedures.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Perform other moving-related duties as assigned.
