About The Position

The Department of Neurological Sciences at the University of Nebraska Medical Center is seeking candidates for an Academic Movement Disorders Specialist. This role requires a BC/BE neurologist with fellowship training in Movement Disorders. The specialist will provide patient care in the Movement Disorders Program, which sees over 4000 outpatient visits annually, and will participate in the Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) and Chemodenervation Programs. The faculty member will also be expected to engage in research and educational activities, including teaching residents and students.

Requirements

  • MD
  • BC/BE Neurologist
  • Fellowship training in Movement Disorders
  • Knowledge of subspecialty-specific diagnostics and therapeutics including DBS programming and chemodenervation

Responsibilities
